What to do!
  1. If no one is injured, both parties should exchange information (by law, everyone is obligated to at least give Teudat Zehut number and car legistration).
In general, it is not wise to admit liability and you should leave it to your insurance agent to deal with.
  2. If there are injuries – do not move the cars. Call the police/ambulance immediately. In this case you will have to file a police report either on the spot or later when the parties involved can appear. Remember that the Compulsory insurance (Bituach Chova) covers anyone injured in an accident – including pedestrians, tourists, hit-and-run victims, etc. The cover also includes loss of earning potential. In the case of serious injury or death, and of course, all medical expenses both immediate and future.
