In the past six months, two of our clients "lost" large diamond rings. After due investigation, the insurance company paid the separate claims – one of 20,000 NIS and one of 14,000 NIS.
About two months later (and about one week apart) both women called in to say that they had found the rings – in both cases, under the bed! Both of them promptly wrote out cheques to pay back the insurance company.
While religious people should take this type of behavior for granted,
this is certainly not always the case in the secular world. The manager
was so amazed that he assembled all the staff and told them this "amazing" story.
It was a tremendous Kiddush HaShem!
