Egert & Cohen Insurance is a company of experienced insurance brokers, specializing in helping English-speakers in Israel with all their insurance needs. We have over 20 years experience in advising the Anglo community in Israel, and dedicate ourselves to making things as easy as possible for tourists, students, temporary residents and experienced citizens alike.
New immigrants turn to us because we speak their language and we understand their needs. We work with many of the major Yeshivas and Seminaries in Israel to insure their overseas students, and we have developed an expertise in insuring Shlichim all over the world.
Egert & Cohen is a family-based brokerage business with branches in Gush Etzion, Jerusalem and Ramat Bet Shemesh. It was set up in 1985 by Roman Egert z"l, who was CEO of a large insurance company in South Africa before making Aliyah. In 1987, his son-in-law, Shimon Cohen and his son, Yonah Egert joined the company. The company maintains a family atmosphere and we go out of our way to help our ‘extended Jewish family’ with all their insurance needs.
We aim to arrange what you need at a reasonable cost, and help to guide you through the maze of insurance requirements and options. Of course, we are there for you if you have to make a claim, speaking your language and representing your best interests.
